PrizePicks +EV picks

PrizePicks lines are single-price (no Over/Under odds visible to the bettor) but they have an implied probability based on the Power Play payout structure. EvqBet compares every PrizePicks line against the sharp-book devigged fair probability and surfaces the +EV picks plus recommended direction.

How the scan works

For each PrizePicks line (player + prop + line value), EvqBet pulls the matching sharp-book line at the exact same line value (tolerance = 0.0). The sharp-book Over and Under odds are devigged using worst-case methods. If the resulting fair probability for either direction exceeds the PrizePicks implied probability, the pick is +EV.

Direction matters

PrizePicks offers different directions on different lines — some only More, some only Less. EvqBet calculates edge for both directions and recommends whichever has positive edge. The user must verify which direction is actually available on PrizePicks for that line.

Power Play only

EvqBet models the Power Play payout structure (higher top-end payouts, no insurance for 3-pick). It does not model Flex Play, which has lower top payouts in exchange for partial-hit insurance.

Frequently asked

Why does EvqBet recommend a direction PrizePicks doesn't offer?

EvqBet calculates edge for both Over and Under because both are mathematically possible. PrizePicks restricts which directions it offers per line — the user must check that the recommended direction is actually available before betting.
