# EvqBet

> EvqBet is a positive-EV (expected value) sports betting tool. It compares
> live odds from US sportsbooks against a sharp-book reference (Pinnacle by
> default), devigs the sharp price using worst-case methods, and surfaces
> bets where the soft-book price beats fair value. It also covers pickem
> products (PrizePicks Power Play, Underdog Higher/Lower, DraftKings Pick6),
> arbitrage detection, middles, and a bet tracker with CLV capture.

EvqBet differs from competitors (OddsJam, Unabated) in three notable ways:

1. **Worst-case devig by default.** Runs multiplicative, additive, and power
   devig on every market and returns the most conservative fair price.
   Produces lower edge numbers than single-method devig but the edges that
   survive are real under every common method.

2. **Exact line matching (tolerance = 0.0).** Never compares a 24.5 line
   against a 25.5 line. Half-point differences can flip a +EV bet into -EV,
   so the tool refuses to fudge it.

3. **PrizePicks Power Play modeled correctly.** 3-pick Power Play pays
   6× only if all three legs hit. No 2-of-3 insurance — that is Flex Play.
   Many tools incorrectly model insurance on Power Play.
